No Red Sox Repeat

Just an FYI, the Red Sox were eliminated from the playoffs today after being swept by the Chicago White Sox (who you may remember from the film Eight Men Out). If you're a Red Sox fan though, there's always that other team to root for:

"Maybe next year."

My name has two 'L's in it, Kino. Just like the verb :smile

If the White Sox win, then maybe it will be history repeating itself all over again. After all, after the Red Sox won their last World Series prior to last year, in 1918, the following year the White Sox won. Then the year after that was when they threw the Series and those 8 players got banned from baseball for life. So if the White Sox win this year, will they go on to dump it all next year?

By the way, no Red Sox entry is complete without a silly shot of Affleck, so here you go:
