I can't decide which is worse: Tuesdays or Wednesdays. Is it Friday yet? :sad Here's today's quiz:
Update - It's pretty early for another hint, but there's already been a couple incorrect guesses, so I figured I'd live dangerously:
Update #2 - Nobody's got it yet, but there've been a few guesses, so here's the next clip. You've earned it:
Update #3 - The answer is still out there eluding everyone, so here's another clip:
Update #4 - Have another clue. It's on me:
Update #5 - Time for another clue, here you go:
Update #6 - Nothin, huh? Ok, here's another clip:
Update #7 - Still no more guesses? Are you guys that stumped, or did you just quit checking back for more clues :lol Anyway, here's the next clue:
Update #8 - It's gettin late in the day. This may be the last clue for today, so if nobody gets this, I may end up just carrying this over until tomorrow. Anybody, anybody:
Update #9 - It took a full day, but Dave finally got it. Here's the remaining few clips:

Trading Places.
Somehow I suspect it's something else since that would be so obvious.

Gotta be an 80's flick, that terrible score in the background of clip #2 gives at least that part away...

I'll neither confirm nor deny that, Drew :wink None of the guesses are right so far though, so I've put up a couple more clips.

the woman speaking in the last quote sounds so much like either Faye Dunaway or Olympia Dukakis. That narrows it down to only about 800 movies.

Once again, I can't help you there, Mr. Krue, but I've put up a new clip to help instead.

The Thomas Crown Affair.

Riggs is correct, it's The Thomas Crown Affair (the remake). Truly nice work, Dave. I've put up the rest of the clips for anyone who wants to hear them :smile

Truly nice work, Dave. --- this wouldn't be a reference to a quote from Con Air would it (Truly nice work, Poe)? :roll
By the way, I never saw Thomas Crown Affair. Not that it matters.

At least I have some satisfaction that Faye Dunaway was indeed in it, as I guessed...

Absolutely that was a Con Air reference, John :lol I'm all about quoting "the goddamn Virus" whenever I can (his proclivities are the subject of penal lore, after all). And yes, Mr. Krue, you were right on knowing that was Faye Dunaway in that one clip. If you guys haven't seen The Thomas Crown Affair, I would definitely reccomend it. It's one of my favorite John McTiernan (or 'McT' as his friends such as Harry Knowles refer to him) movies.
