Today's the last quiz for almost a week. I'm gonna be out of town so after today the quiz will be on hiatus (or sabattical or whatever) until Tuesday, so whoever wins today's quiz is gonna have bragging rights for the rest of the week, for the weekend, and for Halloween. Pretty cool, huh? Matt won yesterday, but since he hates movies, I wouldn't be too worried about him repeating. In fact, everyone else should be ashamed they let a movie-hater like Matt win yesterday. Today's quiz is gonna be kinda like the history eraser button: maybe something good, maybe something bad. We don't know. Whoever wins today is my personal hero. At least till Tuesday, that is.
Update - Movie-hating Matt and Mr. Bell both got the win today, and right on the first clue. Anyway, here's the rest of the clips:
clue #2, clue #3, clue #4, clue #5, clue #6, clue #7, clue #8, clue #9

I know what that is, but I'm not going to say. Another one I've seen a million times. Awesome movie. One of my favorites.

But I don't see Fright Night as being a fhqwhgads fave.

Why didn't you say it, Lambro? Well, Matt emailed me the answer at the same time that John got it, so I guess you two will have to share bragging rights all weekend, cause Fright Night is the correct answer! I had a feeling that putting a clip that featured Roddy McDowall up first might make it too obvious, and I guess I was right. Oh well, I had a bunch of clips for this one, and I put them all up, so check 'em out. Fright Night is definitely one of my faves, but I also was unaware it was one of Matt's (although I did know he'd seen it a bunch). What a fantastic, cheesy movie it is. You guys are my heroes for getting it so quickly :lol

It's a nostalgia piece for me. I used to watch it endlessly on cable and VHS. I'd taped it on slow speed at the end of a tape with two other movies. It looked like hell, but I was always watching it.

Ditto for me when I was a kid. For me I've got a couple of nostalgia movies that are just that way because they were one of the few movies we had on tape growing up, so that's what I watched over and over. Tank, Firestarter and Critters fall into this category for me :lol

I thought this was part of the Wildyams all time Extreme classic collection. I also watched Critters a lot. "We're here for the Crites." Tanks was also another good one, but I didn't watch that as much. That was before James Cromwell became James Cromwell.

Like the brain bug, I was afraid.
Kiss my balls Orlando. Not the city, the guy. As in Bloom. Not the county, but the tent post that stole oxygen from the other actors in "Elizabethtown". You know I heard yesterday that originally Ashton "come soon armageddon" Kutcher was up for the lead in "Elizabethtown". I actually shouted thank god Orlando Bloom got it, and then sat back in shock at the words that were coming out of my mouth.
"Lick my 60 year old bruised ass, Orlando Bloom!" - Jackie Chan

Didn't James Cromwell used to be credited as "Jamie Cromwell", or is it just me? You know Critters is gonna make an appearance at some point here, but I'm just biding my time on that one. I had to do Fright Night for my Halloween quiz (since I won't be doing one again till November). I think if they released a 10-disc, $150 Fright Night box set I would probably buy it, even though I haven't yet even bothered to add Fright Night 2 to my Netflix queue, nor do I have any plans on doing so (I saw it once in the theater and that was enough). I think I may have to upload that Johnny Steele video from Critters before I leave town for the weekend.

I know that Rick Berman refers to James Cromwell as "Jamie", but that's because he's a pretentious asshole.
