Catwoman

Just remember, at one time this was actually a serious picture for some people:

Seems hard to believe now doesn't it?

When Oprah Winfrey was celebrating her birthday last year (or maybe an anniversary show), Halle Berry showed up via satellite dressed as Catwoman, in character, and wished her a happy birthday or whatever. It was incredibly uncomfortable, awkward and embarrassing. Halle Berry was writhing around with a whip pretending to be cat-like and sexy and hissing, "happeee birthhhhdayyyyyy Ooooprahh! Meow! Grrr!" Horrified, Oprah politely laughed and threw a shoe through the monitor. Oh wait, that was me. I wish I had that clip. It was a small moment of television magic.

YES! that was awe inspiring. yams, please post that clip.

side note, did you guys by any chance see conan last night? not only was james spader on the show (and described a scene he just filmed for his tv show where he's spooning with william shatner naked, think about that for a moment), but he also had a bit where they created action figures of star wars fans. there was a 300-lb. morbidly obese stormtrooper, a jar jar fan who'd been beaten and was lying on his side in pain with black eye and everything, and cloaked jedi who when uncloaked was conan. and quentin tarantino was on (who i really wanted to listen to but ended up falling asleep and there is no tivo in my home, unfortunately).

oh, and this last week was hands down the worst i've had at my job ever. maybe any job. sorry to everyone if i seemed, oh, pissed at everyone and everything.

Ahhh. It's even better than I remember. Thank you kindly sir.

Now find me the clip of her receiving her Razzie award where she went on stage and mocked her mildly emotional academy award acceptance speech. C'mon blog men! Get on it! I need entertainment.

You know, maybe it's time we all sat down and had a Catwoman screening. Hmm. Anybody? There are piles of Catwoman DVD's everywhere. I've even been tempted to rent the video game. I fear I might be standing alone on this.

Yams:

:lol Hell I'd watch it with you. It can't be worse than Bio Dome. Can it?
