I Swallowed a Bug

It's not every day that I see a guy I know personally get a mention on a blog that is so widely read as BoingBoing is, so imagine how cool it was for me to see Jason get a mention there. Jason, you sound like you have a really kick ass job going there. The rest of us are jealous :lol Have a nice trip :grin

"I mean I'm no, I can't - I'm a little man, I'm a little man, he's, he's a great man. I should have been a pair of ragged claws scuttling across floors of silent seas..."

.. so where's the story about swallowing a bug?? I was hoping for gory details and a taste graduatory. I can't immagine the consistency of bug being much better than the consistency of fresh fruit, so what gives?
Actually, since I once swallowed an actual bug I can vouch that the consistency of bugs is indeed worse than that of fruit.
It's.. how do you say?!?
More terrible!! :lol

Yams:

The "I swallowed a bug" thing is a somewhat obscure reference to something that Marlon Brando said during Hearts of Darkness (which is the making of Apocalypse Now). He actually did swallow a bug when he said it though. Anyway, since I quoted Apocalypse Now in this entry, I thought I'd quote Hearts of Darkness for the title of the entry. Let this be a lesson to you: don't try to find meaning in my entry titles, because any meaning you'll find there is stupid and silly. Actually, you can apply that to everything I say :grin
