New Years in Vegas

So on a spur of a moment (and because of a last minute request) I accompanied my friend Jen to Vegas for New Years. She's a high roller out there so she got comped rooms and food and all that, so she said if I drove she'd get all that other stuff. Sounded good to me, what with having no other plans for New Years and all, so off we went. I did ok, I only lost about $100 (Jen wasn't so lucky), and I got to see some drunk fools on New Year's Eve and some sharks at the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay. Below are some pictures for your enjoyment, so enjoy them, dammit!

fhqwhgads:

you were in vegas and you didn't go pose in front of "terrible's". we're all very disappointed.

You also didn't pose in front of any strip clubs, Mister Yams. We're all very disappointed, er, at least I am. :(

Yams:

Both of you know damn well you don't want to see me posing in front of anything. That shark tank was plenty I'm sure. Also, I didn't see Terrible's while I was in Vegas

elvispanda:

i'm not at all disappointed. that shark tank picture is the perfect way of ringing in the new year. oh, by the way, i've seen the matrix, imax style. finally. and, it wasn't pan-n-scan! while it was far from being worth $13.00, that last fight was eye-bulging on the 6-story screen with the mighty hugo weaving sneering and stuff. i think it is the best superman fight (so far) ever filmed.

actually, i didn't dislike this one as much as #2. although the dialogue was hilariously circular, as has been pointed out by many. and hey, who inflated monica belucci? sheesh!

Hm, I thought Monica Bellucci was the best special effect. ^_^

FWIW, here's the addy for Terribles Hotel & Casino: 4100 S Paradise Rd.
