Are you ready for some terrible? I'm not gonna give too much explanation for this week's, since it should be pretty obvious to everyone what all this week's entails, so without further ado here you go:
Willie Scott's appearance in the Indiana Jones trilogy
or
Wicket the Ewok's appearance in the original Star Wars trilogy
?
Clearly this is a case of what is a worse way to taint a sacred franchise: with irritation or cuteness, and it's up to you to decide. Well really it's up to me to decide cause it's my game, but it's up to you to guess. One footnote: I did consider using Jar Jar Binks instead of Wicket, but I figured with any contest of what's more terrible that features Jar Jar, the odds of Jar Jar winning are almost 100% regardless of what you put him up against, and where's the sport in that?

Willie Scott!! When a monkey has to take a double take you know it's bad.

I dunno, the appearance of Short Round didn't exactly endear himself to his peeps either.
I'd have to go with Willie Scott. Sooooo annoying.

Hey Koga, speaking of Jonathan Ke Quan (Shorty), did you hear how Spielberg is gonna make a sequel for Goonies, but is gonna go with an 'Engrish' title based on Quan's pronunciation of the word 'Goonies'? Check out this quote from Richard Donner (the director of 'Goonies'):
"The new group is called the Groonies, because they happen to live in a town where [Data], the Chinese kid, lives ... and he's got an electronics repair shop and all the kids hang out at his shop. He has this Chinese accent and he calls the Goonies the Groonies, and so the new kids call themselves the Groonies, until they get into a situation where the old Goonies have to save the new Groonies, or vice versa."

Well hello Mr. Fancy Pants! I noticed that you didn't give us an opinion on the terrible issue at bar, and instead just mixed in a little chatter of your own. This is my detail, mister, and if you don't want a slapper in the yapper you'll just answer the fookin question and be done with it. Ok, who wants some?

Willie Scott wins easily. At least in the case of the Ewoks, Lucas unknowingly gave the audience the opportunity to applaud the dead ewok's demise. I know its not Wicket, but at least you feel better seeing one of em die. Willie on the other hand is just painful to watch and there's no end. The sad thing is there were so many opportunities to kill the character PAINFULLY and none of them were ever explored. I think we might have a angle for a Indiana Spoof. Remake a scene from Temple of Doom where you think it would be most appropriate to get rid of Willie Scott.

I think crushing her in that descending spike-filled room would've been rather memorable. Or maybe being dismembered by the crocodiles in the river.

No no, definitely should should have just melted to death while being suspended over that lava pit as Indy and Shorty were fighting Mola Rom's goons up top. Imagine when they reel her back in if she was a big gooey mess, or charred black or something? Then Indy coulda said something like "I guess we're not all getting out of here, but let's go get those kids and beat it" or something. That would have ruled.
Another good place for her to die would have been when the water rushed through the tunnel and they all barely escaped. Imagine the satisfaction of seeing her hydro-propelled out of the mine shaft and down into the river with the alligators in it!
Actually, in reality, it would have been best if Indy had just skewered her in the eye or something back in Club Obi Wan, thus limiting her screen time

i'm going to vote for the ewok, even though, after watching the original version of jedi again i really don't find ewoks all that terrible. i just don't want willie to win anything. ever.
it's weird, now, how the ewoks used to make star wars dweebs so angry. i mean, they are a million times less annoying than just a still photo of the gungan. and that's including the 'yub nub' song. which i miss. anyone have the mp3 of that?
viva el terrible.

This is a no-contest contest... I mean Willie's screams permeate the entirety of one whole installment of the trilogy... to tell the truth I have a hard time recalling the Wicket character all togerther.
How about that George L. shooting new scenes for Empire Strikes Back and petitioning the DGA to get his name added as co-director given the sizeable amount of new footage, though? Ain't that a gas?
Pardon me I have to cry now...

The answer is Willie Scott is more terrible than Wicket the Ewok. I've heard some defense of Willie that her character is supposed to be annoying, and that it's not entirely Kate Capshaw's fault; however, this is irrelevant because whether she is supposed to be annoying or not, Willie Scott is so annoying that she really takes away from the entire movie. I personally think that Kate Capshaw helped her be more annoying than she otherwise would have been, but that's just my own personal opinion.
Wicket, on the other hand, is definitely annoying as well, and quite terrible in his own right, but at least he's not in the entire movie like Willie is. Also, as Riggs pointed out, you can still get some anti-Ewok satisfaction in seeing one of them get killed, while Willie basically just gets all upset at not being treated like a princess the whole time. In my opinion, the best part of Jedi happens on the Death Star at the end anyway, without any trace of Wicket.
Really both are quite terrible, no doubt about it. It's just that Willie Scott comes very close to ruining "Temple of Doom" (some would argue that she succeeds in doing just that), while Wicket just ruins parts of "Return of the Jedi". This is why Willie is more terrible.

sorry i'm late, but...
wicket is worse, and here's why.
temple of doom was a turd no matter how you diced it. dice out the willie scott, you've still got too many kids, a lackluster story, half-baked villains and no real points of interest for we the audience. it was just a noisy chase with a shocking tear-out-the-heart moment to alarm us all into thinking this was an indy flick with balls. actually it was an indy flick without a heart.
return of the jedi was still a fun movie, but was/is haunted by the official first red flag of the demise of "lucas talent", the introduction of the ewok. the final battle is one of the coolest and silliest things ever filmed. explain to me how an ewok with rock tied to a stick kills or even fucking threatens a battle hardened stormtrooper wearing armour and toting a big blaster? huh? i still don't understand how the third reich marched into the forest and was stomped by the muppet show. they should have had animal come out and beat the emperor with his drumsticks. wicket is far more terrible.
