I have to say, I started off today not feeling that great (I didn't get out of bed till about 4 in the afternoon), but watching the Lakers kick the everliving crap out of the Spurs sure made me feel a hell of a lot better. LA had the lead for all but the very first few moments of the game, and had pushed the lead to 30 by the 3rd quarter, meaning it was garbage time for the last 15-20 minutes or so. Shaq came back after sitting out the last two games with a sprained calf muscle, and he only had 7 points but it didn't matter. Karl Malone had his 4th career triple-double and badly outplayed his counterpart, the league's 2-time reigning MVP Tim Duncan. The Lakers made the Spurs look like absolute shit and I loved every minute of it. My favorite moment (shown below) was Karl Malone baiting Tim Duncan into fouling him by pump faking a shot to force Duncan to charge at Malone, and when Malone did go up for the shot Duncan threw his face right into Malone's elbow and not only picked up the foul, but probably picked up a shiner as well
