Home Again, Home Again

So after spending the last couple days at my Dad's place, I'm not back home again. My plans tonight are to watch the Lakers play the Warriors, and then to maybe watch a movie and go to bed. Tomorrow I've got work, then Jeff is coming back into town after spending the last week or so in Hawaii. I'm taking Tuesday and Wednesday off from work and will try to find some fun stuff for Jeff and I to do. Then on Wednesday night at 7 pm we're going to see "The Matrix Revolutions" at the Chinese. I had planned on seeing it on the IMAX up at ShittyWalk, but the word has it that the Warchowski Bros. for some reason wanted to use the entire IMAX screen for this one, and as a result they are pan and scanning the movie. That is garbage so I'm not gonna see it there. Not on opening night, anyway.

Here's a quick recap of my weekend: Friday after work I went to pick up Rebecca and then she and I went to Dave and Jen's place. We went to dinner at Carmines, then went back to Dave and Jen's. Since it was Halloween we were all kinda in the mood to see a scary movie, and Rebecca really wanted to see "Session 9" after hearing me talk about it, so since nobody else had seen it we went with that. Jen was either too tired or didn't want to get scared so she went to bed, but Dave, Rebecca and myself watched it. Dave said he couldn't take it seriously simply because David Caruso is in it, but Rebecca seemed pretty freaked out by it. I think it's a pretty scary flick myself, and I don't have too much of a problem with David Caruso cause I never saw him in any of his TV shows (I think the only stuff I've seen him in other than "Session 9" is "An Officer and a Gentleman", "First Blood" and "Kiss of Death"). Saturday I slept in then went to The Hat for a late lunch before going over to Bob's Mom's house for a pre-wedding BBQ party thing. It was a good time and was good to hang out with everyone, and it is nice to see that it is FINALLY getting cold here. Last night you could see your breath, so that's quite a switch from about a week and a half ago when it was topping 100 for a couple days in a row. After the party, I did my laundry and watched TV, then today got up (late, again) and cleaned up my Dad's place and came back here. Fantastic, huh?
