Man, what a great day :-) I woke up at around 10ish today when I got a call from John, asking me if I wanted tickets for "XMen 2" or not at the Mann's Chinese Theater at 7 or so. Anyway, I couldn't go because I had agreed to go to see BT who was performing tonight at Spundae, and we needed to get there at 8 or 9 to make sure we could get in. So anyway, Grover, Jon and myself decided to go to the 4 pm show at the Mann's Chinese instead. Those guys showed up here at about 3, and off we went. Well, as probably can be expected, there was an enormous line, but we ended up getting pretty good seats anyway, and we settled in to watching "X2". Lemme just say: WOW! Man, that one blew the first "XMen" movie away, and I liked the first one. This one was a much more mature film, much more intense, just really better in every way. It was all I could have hoped for from the sequel to "XMen", and more. I will be going to see that again soon. Oh yeah, I also was able procure tickets for "The Matrix Reloaded", also at the Mann's Chinese at 10 pm on the 14th (that's the night before its officially released :-)

Anyway, so after "X2" we came back here to my place and hung out for a bit before we had to go to Spundae. Once we got there, it was a kickass good time. Nothing like seeing BT two nights in a row ;-) This time it was a much different atmosphere, of course (a nightclub vs. a computer store). I got some great pictures too.
