So as you may know, I'm not a big fan of Pixar movies. See, I do own both of the "Toy Story" movies on DVD, and I like them, but I just can not stomach "A Bug's Life" or "Monsters Inc." This is due to severe overexposure of "A Bug's Life" while I worked at Good Guys years ago. I used to sell cell phones (by the sea shore
Never mind me, I'm an idiot), and the cell phone department was located right next to a large wall of big screen TVs. Anyway, I guess they figured that showing a colorful, vibrant movie like "A Bug's Life" would help sell the TVs, so that's what they did. On an endless loop. All day, every day. So rest assured, I got sick of that damn movie pretty quick, cause even though I wasn't like sitting there watching it all day (like I would be at my current job), nothing will kill a movie quicker than having it loop start to finish 4 times in a row right next to you 5 days a week (oddly enough, they later did the same thing with "Wing Commander" and that movie seemed to get better after seeing it for like the 50th time or something, but that was probably because it was so bad to begin with that it had nowhere else to go but up). So anyway, when "Monsters Inc." came out, I went to see it because they were running the first teaser for "Episode 2" before it, and I wanted to see that. I really did not like "Monsters Inc" cause unlike the "Toy Story" movies it was JUST for kids. There was no adult context in "Monsters Inc.", it was just a child's movie. And that's fine and all, you know, I mean Barney shouldn't be meant for grownups either, but because its not I don't like Barney. Anyway, so because of my distaste for "A Bug's Life" and "Monsters Inc" I'm probably not gonna ever go spend money on a Pixar movie again, including "Finding Nemo". Ok, now with all that being said, here is a rather hilarious review of "Finding Nemo", enjoy.
