The Laker Run Is Over

Not a good way to bring a championship streak to an end. The Lakers were considered by many to be a lock to win this Game 6 tonight and instead they got blown out at home to bring an end to a troubled season. The previous three years were great, but this one really sucked for most of the way, and this game tonight was, sad to say it, fitting. Gotta give the Spurs credit, and they'll be a force for a while because they'll probably be able to pick up a big free agent in the offseason with their salary being what it is. Hopefully the Lakers can also pick up someone decent this year to keep the dynasty going, or else (god forbid) who knows if Kobe Bryant will return after next year. I don't even want to think about that though. Well Lakers, the last 3 years have been great, take this summer, rest up, get angry, get the hunger back and come back next year like you give a shit. Ok?

On the plus side, at least I'm not gonna be stressing about them anymore for another 5 months or so.
