Like I'm really surprised, but evidently back in the 1930s a Canadian inventor came up with a special carburettor that would have allowed cars to go 200 miles on a single tank of gas (this was tested and proven true with a Ford V8 car back in 1933). However, the patented device never was produced commercially because the oil industry feared it would cause its collapse, so the inventor was bought off and given a sweet job in exchange for never doing anything with his invention. Well here it is 70 years later and some stray plans the inventor left in a toolbox have been found by someone who is now planning to build it. I'll leave it up to your imagination to decide what things would have been like if this invention had been in existence for the last 70 years...
